Watering the Seeds of Communication 🌻

Welcome to Sunflower Speech Therapy

SST is a one-of-a-kind family-centered speech and language therapy private practice serving the greater Baltimore region.

Our mission is to provide individualized services to each client and their family. A client-led approach provides the opportunity for communication to blossom, in that our clients are able to use their own imagination and are motivated to engage. SST also believes in neuro-affirming practices - sensory needs and all forms of communication are honored and encouraged.

Our Services

  • This is a complimentary service where we will get to connect and chat!

  • This service determines the need for further assessment/intervention.

  • This is where we start our speech and language therapy journey together!

  • This is where the real fun begins! We provide individualized in-home services. Caregivers are more than welcome to join us!

  • SST is currently providing community-based communication groups. If you are part of an organization that would like to inquire about these services, please contact us at megan@sunflowerspeechmd.com. We are currently and proudly providing weekly social communication groups with the Down syndrome Association of Maryland!

  • Do you feel that you, as a caregiver, are needing extra support in helping your child’s communication? Have they not qualified for direct services or are you not ready for direct services? We now provide monthly consults via teletherapy to discuss your child’s needs, skills, and activities to implement to help promote their communication.
